Wanted to use up a bunch of P & G coupons that were expiring and take advantage of the Dollar Days at No Frills. Went to Walmart early in the morning and No Frills after work. Here is the breakdown:

9 x BBQ Sauce reg. $2.97 (-$0.27)
22 x Minute Maid Frozen Juice reg. $1.00 (FREE)

Grand total would have been $129.85 I paid $7.24 out of pocket! That's a savings of  $122.61 or 94.4 %

Canadian Couponing Strikes Again

Great day for price matching and coupons. Some of the deals I took advantage of today were lean ground beef $2.47 per pound pm to Foodland saved me 50% compared to the sticker price at Walmart. Lactantia Butter pm from Metro $2.99 - $0.75 coupon = $2.24, Dial refillable soap reg $4.99 pm to Freshco $2.99 - $2.00 = $0.99 and Lactantia Milk pm to Food Basics $3.88 - $1.00 coupon = $2.88 saved $4.00

I also wanted to use up some coupons that are expiring and I picked up 5 Fabreeze to go and used a Free coupon for the Fabreeze car vent. Fabreeze to Go regular price $1.97 - $1.50= $0.47 and the car vent is reg $3.97. BBQ sauce reg $2.97 on for $1.97 and used a $2.00 off coupon. Each bottle made me $0.03. Minute Rice $1.50 - $0.50 = $1.00  and Nexxus conditioner Free. The picture below regular price $62.39 after price matching and coupons $8.90 Saving $53.49 or 86%

This Weeks Price Matching at Walmart

Have not had to really shop in the last few days so I have not posted. But Sunday will be my shopping day. The plan is to do a lot of pricematching at Walmart. Here is what I am after Minute Maid frozen drink mix pm to No Frills 2/$1.00 and use a $1.00 coupon making them free, BBQ sauce $1.97 use the $2.00 coupon from the last Smart Source making them free and a lot of other great deals out there this week. Freshco Probelm Solved

I blogged earlier in the week about an issue I was having with Freshco in St. Catherines on Ontario Street. Well, after an email to head office and a few emails with my store manager they have solved the problem. So todays trip to Freshco cost me $4.83 in tax alone! It was like paying for the jar of peanuts and getting everything else for free.

First Couponing Problem at Freshco

So Freshco has an awesome deal on Olay soap. It is on for $1.00 a single bar. P&G recently had a  coupon for $3.00 off when you purchase 2 products. Now the problem, both Freshco stores in St. Catherines are refusing to take the coupons. They are claiming it is a trial size product. Many coupons state that it cannot be used on trial size. I have been to the store on Ontario St. twice and have been shot down. A call is in to head office and I hope it will be solved soon. I have to say I am disappointed in my Freshco since many stores in other cities are accepting this coupon no problems. Well just my luck. I'll keep you updated.

I used my $3.00 when you buy 2 Fabreeze products coupon and my get a free car freshener when you purchase any Fabreeze product. Regular price $15.82! Savings of $13.94 or 88%!
