This weekend Shoppers had a bonus redemption weekend. Spend 25,000 points and get $50.00 was the deal I was after. I wanted to combine it with a Cadbury Chocolate points event that is on till the 23rd of September. I did 2 transactions as I didn't want to clear the shelves. Here is what it looked like:
- 27 cans of Friskas Cat Food
- 40 Cadbury Family Size Chocolate Bars
- 1 Frozen Pizza
- 1 Dozen eggs
- 1 case 24 Water
Grand Total : 50,000 bonus points redeemed and $12.96 in taxes. I earned 80,000 BONUS points for a future savings of $125.00 regular redemption or $170.00 on a bonus redemption day! You could also look at it this way I used 50,000 points to get everything for Free basically and made 30,000 for a $40.00 future purchase.
