One Girl 3 Stores

Up early this morning to visit 3 local stores to snag some deals! First stop was Shoppers Drug Mart. It is one of my favourite days because it's Bonus Redemption Day at Shopper's Drugmart. You have the chance to redeem your points at a higher rate. Today I redeemed 80 000 and got $200.00 to spend. That's an extra $64.00 from the regular redemption. Here are the details:

• 12 Boxes of The Keg Prime Rib Beef Burgers reg. $11.99 on sale for $7.99 (72 burgers!)
• 4 Boxes of Koolaid Jammers reg. $4.49 on sale for $2.49
• 2 Boxes of crackers reg $2.99 on sale $2.00 and used $0.50 off coupon
• 2 dozen eggs reg $2.79 on sale $2.29
• 5 Packages of Schneiders Bacon reg. $5.99 on sale for $3.49
• 4 Blocks of Armstrong Cheee reg. $5.99 on sale for $2.99
• 3 x Protein Bar reg. $2.49 use a coupon making them FREE
• Hawaian Tropic reg. $11.99 on sale for $9.99 and used $1.00 coupon
• Various Baby products for a gift basket I am doing for a friend (5 Johnsons & Johnson and Penaten reg $37.00 on sale for $24.00)
• 2 Handsoap reg. $5.99 on sale for $2.00
• 3 Bodycology Bubble Bath reg. $7.99 on sale for $2.00
• 1 Pair of reading glasses because the printing on the coupons is getting smaller $19.99

Total for the items would have been $332.65 but with sales and coupons my bill came to $212.05 I redeemed my points so my out of pocket expense was $12.05. That's a savings of $320.59 or 96%!

The next store was Walmart. I was after some European's Best Frozen Veggies and Bush's baked Bean were also on my list. Here is the breakdown:

• 36 Cans of Bush's Baked Beans reg. $1.67 on sale for $1.34 and a $0.50 off coupon
• 11 bags of European's Best various types reg. $4.77 on sale $2.47 $2.00 off coupon
• 6 Bags of cat treats reg. $1.64 on sale for 2/$3.00 and used a buy 2 get one FREE coupon
• 6 Whiskas Cat Food $0.64 and used a buy 2 get one FREE coupon
• 2 x Power Protein Bar reg. $1.50 and used a FPC making them FREE

Total of the regular prices items $129.27. With sales and coupons I paid $46.93. That's a savings of $82.34 or 64%!

The last store was Metro for some extra Air Miles. Here is the breakdown for that shop:

• Buitoni Pizza reg. $7.99 on sale for $4.99 with a $2.50 off coupon
• 2 Bag of Irresistibles Chips reg. $1.98 on sale $0.99
• 4 Welch's Grape Juice reg $4.79 on sale for $3.29 with a $0.50 off coupon and get 5 AM when you buy 2.
• 2 Glade Express reg. $4.49 used FPC making them FREE
• 4 Olymel Jumbo Hot Dogs reg $3.99 on sale for $1.99 and used $0.50 off coupon and $0.5o off peelie coupon on the product making them $0.99 a package and 3 AM when you buy 2
• 2 Power Protein Bars reg. $2.49 used FPC making them FREE

Regular price for this purchase would have been $61.03. I paid $20.85 and got 27 Air Miles with the bonus coupons I used. That a savings of $40.18 or 66%!

GRAND TOTAL of products purchased $522.95 with sales, coupons and redemption I paid $79.83. That is a savings of $443.12 or 85%. And earned 27 Air Miles and 110 SDM points! Who's Ready For a BBQ?
